   Modern macrame  

 

I have been creating with various mediums for most of my life. From drawing and painting to creating candles.  I discovered wood-burning 5 years ago and it has become a passion. I first tried macrame when I was a teenager and have recently taken it up again. 

I have a strong desire to protect the environment by not using plastic whenever possible, therefore |I make every attempt to use paints and stains that are eco-friendly or hand-made using natural materials. Acrylic paint and water-based varnish is used when necessary. I am dedicated to using materials that are not harmful to the planet or to ourselves and I donate to animal welfare organizations through sales of my work.
